Sears Holdings Removes Bausch & Lomb MoistureLoc Products From Stores

Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SHLD) today announced that Kmart and Sears have stopped selling ReNu with MoistureLoc brand products at their Kmart, Sears Essentials and Sears Grand stores and have removed the following products from their shelves:

  -- ReNu MoistureLoc, 4 oz.
  -- ReNu MoistureLoc, 12 oz.
  -- ReNu MoistureLoc 2x12 oz.
  -- ReNu Convenience Pack


"We felt this was the appropriate step to take for our customers, while we await the outcome of the U.S. Centers For Disease Control and Prevention investigation into reports of a rare fungal eye infection linked to contact lenses," said Peter Whitsett, Sears Holdings merchandise officer for general merchandise. "We want our customers to know that our Kmart, Sears Essentials and Sears Grand stores will continue to offer an assortment of other brands of eye care products in order to meet their needs."
