Kmart and the Isiah Thomas Foundation Host Annual Children's Shopping Spree, Saturday, December 2
Kmart and the Isiah Thomas Foundation will treat 50 Detroit area children to breakfast, a visit from Santa and a shopping spree at the Detroit Super Kmart on Saturday, December 2, 2000 from 8 - 11 a.m. Starr Commonwealth and MacDowell Elementary School have pre-selected the young shoppers. Shopping budgets are provided by Kmart and the Isiah Thomas Foundation. The shopping spree is an annual tradition at Kmart. This year, more than 43,000 children nationwide will participate.
