Sears' Special Holiday Savings Gives Last Minute Shoppers a Break

Sears' Extensive Selection Creates One-Stop Shopping Solution for Both Him and Her

According to a recent survey from the National Retail Federation*, 41 million people have yet to start their holiday shopping. Sears will make it easier than ever this year for last minute shoppers to either start their shopping or mark those few final items off their lists with its last minute deals on a wide selection of merchandise.

"Sears is the one-stop shopping solution to find the perfect gift for the whole family," said Don Hamblen, Sears' chief marketing officer. "From Sears' popular gift cards to our doorbuster-like deals, Sears truly is the last minute holiday destination for shoppers looking for the best prices on this season's hottest gifts."

Since men are usually some of the last to start their holiday shopping (20.7%* haven't started), many last minute presents tend to be gifts purchased for women. To help make those perfect gifts for her even more affordable, Sears Saturday Morning Doorbusters on Dec. 20, will offer 60 percent off outerwear for her. Throughout the weekend, shoppers can also find 50-70 percent off of all Fine Jewelry.

With up to 60 percent off on many items, Sears' last minute deals extend storewide including:

-- 60% Off sleepwear & robes for the family
-- 25% Off Lands' End down comforter & throws

Additionally, many men's last minute gift items include tools, electronics and apparel. Sears will be offering deep discounts on the following:

-- 60% Off all Dockers, Arrow and Covington sweaters for him

For last minute shoppers, Sears' gift cards continue to be a great gift idea. They are affordable for everyone's budget, ranging in amounts from $5 to $500. Sears gift cards make it easy to purchase, activate remotely and select from a wide range of merchandise. Recipients can choose from toys and tools to home or apparel both in-store and online at three different retailers - Sears, Kmart and Lands' End.

On Dec. 20 and 21, Sears will offer extended store hours from 7:00 am -11:00 pm. Additionally, beginning Sunday, Dec. 21, Sears will kick off a 4-day sale so consumers can take advantage of more last minute holiday shopping prices.
